This was good, deserved more.
Looking at these, have to admit the league is stable enough to add Canberra Cannons and perhaps West Sydney? Seriously cool 90s retro
Both teams would need new venues. Think it would be silly for a western Sydney team to be based at qudos, they should have their own home and play at qudos when it is worthwhile. Could see a new venue in the south West of Sydney as probably the best option.

Nah, Qudos is west of the city anyway. Melbourne and SE Melbourne both play at John Cain.
You can build something west in the meantime (Penrith is booming) but its not necessary.

The NBL would sell 100 x more merch and be more popular as a visual product if they did the following:
1) Remove the size and amount of sponsor logos on courts and singlets
2) Got singlets that actually fit well

The logos on courts are a necessary evil.
The logos on jerseys, while they are kind of annoying, they fit into the jersey template reasonably well and you get used to it. The ones that suck are teams like Sydney who don't have a front above team name sponsor, but still have the space there for one which makes the jersey look s**t.
The singlets fit incredibly well though.

The problem is when they put out retro versions, they're a bit like soccer shirts (and to a lesser extent AFL jumpers) in that they don't look quite right without the same old school sponsors, like it doesn't look like a Magic singlet without Big M on it or a Wildcats singlet without Swan Gold or Emu Export.
