I know Tally and Stanhope didn’t get a 75% majority in their vote to move to the Murray League so they’re out

The classic Good Friday game between Echuca United and Moama is more often than not a firey clash, but the rivalries of Cobram/Barooga, Nathalia/Numurkah and Finley/Deniliquin have produced some exciting matches over the years. Even Rumbalara and Congupna have developed a bit of a grudge.

Anyone have some tips for this weekend's Grand Finals? It's looking like being a cracking day over at Rumba on Saturday, sunny 22° with a light breeze.

Can Nathalia continue the juggernaut or will Barooga finally crack their premiership drought?

My tips:
Seniors: Nathalia v Barooga
Reserves: Mulwala v Moama
Under 17s: Moama v Numurkah
Under 14s: Cobram v Deniliquin

Gee 3 out of 4 u got.... poor old barooga, $$$$ versus local talent with the perfect culture. Well done purps.
 
Does Anybody have any idea of what league Tungahma, Katandra and Shepp East will be in next year?
Ive Heard Tunga and Katandra are happy to stay in the MFL and Shepp East are exploring other options which has taken along time.

Shepp East are a major player in trying to get the MFL Div 2 up which is obviously still pending hopefully they get it up.
 
Actually hearing a 5 team Division 2 Comp where teams play some games against the top Division has been proposed. Obviously confident of getting more teams in once it's up and running the year after.

How would finals work then for this division 2, as teams would be playing some teams from divison 1? maybe they wont have finals,
feel sorry for those teams involved

Has anyone read the riverine herald report regarding the Murray league split?
Thinking of putting 12 teams in a league together and a further 6 in another, wouldn't it make sense to put an even amount together say 9 each?
Also reading about the fixture in there where Norman is quoted saying
"Some teams would play each other twice and others would play each other one and a half times a season"
What the bloody hell does one and a half times a season mean?
