League in huge strife, already huge divide between top 4 sides and the rest. How long can it continue to exist in its current form? Time for Calivil/Miti to bite the bullet and merge, Newbridge also need to be proactive in seeking a merger. Marong atop the ladder percentage of 1400%+.
I heard Wedderburn & Newbridge were looking to have a chat🤷‍♂️

You've gotta think serp as well and they become northern united

All 4 games in Heathcote league were 100 point wins

Well doesnt this just tell us how stuffed footy is in the region, BFL dominated by 4 clubs the last 20 years, LVFL and HDFL have huge gaps between the top 4 sides and the rest, NCFL dominated by 2 clubs until recently a 3rd has appeared to shake it up a bit(and it has now going into a merger with the most successful side in the leagues history). Someone, somewhere has to have a plan for the future direction of not just locally but for all country footy or it is destined to become a part of history. We cannot expect to see any leadership from the AFL, they dont care what happens at grass roots level, perhaps a meeting of league executives from the region(without AFL attendance)would be a good start.

It’s gotta come from the clubs and needs to be all the clubs.

Self interest generally rules but surely the dominant clubs must be sick of it as well, no contest and predictable games cost everyone in the long run.

Aflcv hubs need to done with and go back to the clubs in charge of their leagues. The Hub offers nothing to the clubs

It's beyond a joke. It is of little benefit to anyone playing those games.
It’s the issue for most country clubs. NCFL have it, heathcote to a certain extent. What’s the solution?
Is a Sunday u/17’s comp that includes LVFL & NCFL clubs worth visiting.
Encourage a few of the clubs with low numbers to establish teams like east Loddon rams.
Play 4-5 game at the one venue for the day.
I’m sure there will be 1000 reasons why not to do it but something needs to change. Sea Lake - Marong isn't on anyone’s bucket list. But I’m sure it would be a far better game than Marong v Bridgey.

While it's not good calivil copped a 30 goal touch up they did win 6 or 7 premierships in a row at one stage so there's that but the shrinking population of calivil, serp and mitti is a worry, if two amalgamated you could handle it but if 3 did would be a disaster and the population of most towns are shrinking while marongs and Ycw are growing
