This always was the plan.
Ukrainians understood this.
The gullible on BF do not.

the “Order of the 25th World Russian People’s Council, ‘The Present and Future of the Russian World’” — and it makes for terrifying reading.

The special military operation [SMO] is a new stage in the national liberation struggle of the Russian people against the criminal Kyiv regime and the collective West behind it, waged … since 2014,” says Part One. “During the SMO, the Russian people, with arms in hand, defend their lives, freedom, statehood, civilizational, religious, national and cultural identity, as well as the right to live on their own land within the borders of a single Russian state.”

Readers may wonder just how a poorly armed small state such as Ukraine could possibly threaten a well-armed giant state such as Russia and force it to defend itself “with arms in hand” by launching a limited invasion in 2014 and a full-scale invasion in 2022. Not even foreign policy “realists” like the University of Chicago’s John Mearsheimer would make such a preposterous claim.

Readers may also wonder how church leaders could have reached the following astounding conclusion: “From a spiritual and moral point of view, the special military operation is a Holy War, in which Russia and its people … fulfill the mission of ‘Restrainer,’ protecting the world from the onslaught of globalism and the victory of the West, which has fallen into Satanism.”

After the completion of the SMO, the entire territory of modern Ukraine should enter the zone of exclusive influence of Russia. The possibility of the existence in this territory of a Russophobic political regime hostile to Russia and its people, as well as a political regime controlled from an external center hostile to Russia, must be completely excluded.”

History repeating itself if russia win. russia won't just stop at Ukraine

Russification [русифікація; rusyfikatsia]. A set of policies or processes encouraging non-Russians to adopt the Russian language and culture and thus increasing Russian political domination in Ukraine and other Eastern European countries.

Ukraine came under increasing Russification pressures after the Pereiaslav Treaty of 1654. Ukrainian autonomy was gradually restricted and finally abolished. In 1720 it was forbidden to print books in Ukrainian, and Ukrainian redactions of Church Slavonic books had to be checked against Russian redactions ‘to avoid any discrepancies.’ The Governing Council of the Hetman Office (est 1734) was given secret instructions to promote the merging of the two nations through intermarriage. During the reign of Catherine II a wide Russification program was implemented in Ukraine by the Second Little Russian Collegium under Petr Rumiantsev. Russian became compulsory in the schools and in publications. The language of instruction at the Kyivan Mohyla Academy was switched to Russian. Russian was adopted as the administrative language in the Orthodox church, and Church Slavonic, used for sermons, had to be pronounced in the Russian way. The Holy Synod in 1769 did not permit the Kyivan Cave Monastery to print primers in Ukrainian. The policy of Russification was extended gradually into all spheres of social life, first in Left-Bank Ukraine, Kyiv, and Slobidska Ukraine, and after the suppression of the Polish Insurrection of 1830–1 in Right-Bank Ukraine as well.

The central government resettled people and manipulated migration patterns so as to promote Russification (see National composition of Ukraine and Migration). Russians were encouraged in various ways to move to Ukraine, and large numbers of them were settled there. Whereas Russians accounted for only 8.2 percent of Ukraine’s (within its postwar borders) population in 1926, by 1959 they accounted for 16.9 percent, and by 1989, for 22.1 percent.

If Israel blew up the Iranian embassy in Syria and thinking saying nothing will let them avoid punishment, Iran should have blown up the Israeli embassy in Russia, if its going to be an eye for eye. Putin wont do anything, he needs all of Iran's military supplies they can provide him with.

EV and bicycle sales to tick upwards in coming months.

Israel's *in lost it
Iran attacked within Israel's borders, not the proxy / outside country tit-for-tat they've previously engaged in. I mean Iran, that bastion of goodness. The most sexist, homophobic and extreme country in the Middle East, who besides providing arms to those wanting to kill Israeli's (which some here are happy enough with), are supplying Russia with drones to target Ukrainian civilians. The only downside to any attack on Iran is it's only the Israeli's taking part.

You mean after Israel attacked Iran's embassy? They've also reportedly attacked Syria and Iraq.

Must have got bored with murdering Palestinian children.

They aren't the good guys here, as much as the US wants them to be. Not that Iran and Iraq are bastions of good, but Israel's actions have been despicable. They've been acting like Nazis in Gaza for decades.

The US has used it's veto to thwart a UN Security Council resolution to grant Palestine full membership of the UN.

Israeli's aren't perfect, but by no measure can you put Iran as 'better'. Israeli's have hit Iranian proxies in other countries that are targeting them. Israel would be overjoyed if Iran decided to stop trying to wipe them out, they have an issue with Iran as Iran wants to wipe them out. Israel has peace with most Middle East countries these days. I mean they get on well with Egypt and they invaded Israel twice.

Even if Iran wasn't targeting Israel, there's only one war going on in the world that is existential, rather then a local dispute and that's Russia-Ukraine, to see if we end the 21st century with Democracies or Dictatorships the prevailing way the world is run. With Iran clearly doing it's best to promote the latter, they deserve everything coming their way. With luck the Israeli's hit the Shaheed factories, producing drones hitting Ukrainian hospitals and schools.
