I thought I might start an off season thread, to highlight my (and hopefully some other posters) ability (or lack thereof) in making predictions.
I'm hopeful that some of my "better work" in the future, will help bring some "good news" somewhere.
For examples of my "better work" in the past you need only look back to Saturday morning when I suggested that the Eagles were taking a huge risk playing injured players and raised the injury concerns of Shuey and McGovern.
Yep you've got it. Shuey gets the Norm Smith and McGovern close behind with a terrific game down back.
I once boldly suggested on this forum that Turtle reminded me very much of Micky Conlan (there were a few s******s at the time) , after one of Turtles better games. Turtle never played another game quite as good as that one.
So here goes.
