Just Stop Oil protesters stopping the race, meanwhile the broadcast is giving them no exposure whatsoever.
Strange that they would target a sport that has zero greenhouse gases emitted by the competitors.

Still has a pretty big footprint though, given all the vehicles in the convoy, helicopters for TV and VIPs, and long distance flights to/from the various World Tour races.

MVDP stacks it and still wins. Clearly the strongest on the day and deserving winner. Wout just needed to hold the wheel a few seconds longer when he attacked but think we probably get the same result anyway.

Pog as usual does something unexpected and beats Pedersen in the sprint for third after looking cooked for the last 20km. Matt Dinham with the race of his life in 7th too.

Was a bit sceptical of the course going in but found it an interesting watch. Looked a brutal day and some spent riders at the finish.

The Matt Dinham result is hard to believe - First year Neo-Pro who has no results, although he must have been going well to make DSM's TDF squad - It was even more surprising when he was a last minute replacement and the course did not suit his characteristics - Can say that Jayco should have signed Didham, instead of Porter, because Didham had more upside.

I liked the course, there was reward for solo efforts which in WC races normally ends in a win. The usual G2 tactics were the helping hand MVDP needed and he didn't burn his matches chasing attacks earlier like Pogacar did. I don't know about WVA being disappointed in the result, his lack of rolling through when the gap to MVDP was less than 20 seconds was the main reason he rode away. Belgium didn't use theirs numbers well, weird race from Remco, looked to be scared of crashing before the Vuelta.

Will be interested to see the results tomorrow morning.

Not that I think he will win, but if Rohan Dennis does end up winning, will there simply be no rainbow jersey in any ITT next year?

Grace Brown would have won the women's ITT is she stayed at Jayco as their ITT set up is infinitely better than FDJ's - She's wasted two years of her career riding too many 2.1 races in France and has received less opportunities to lead races than she would have received at Jayco.

Oscar Chamberlain is dominant in the junior boy's ITT - he will have WT teams interested in 2024, however there is little to no chance of him ending up at Jayco.

An excellent win by Wilson-Haffenden in the junior girls ITT - A big, powerful rider who should be an ideal candidate for the new Liv/Jayco Conti team.

But no UK Postal (thanks Vader) team riders named or penalised
Didn't this relate to the mysterious "Jiffy Bag", which allegedly contained something for Bradley Wiggins?

EDIT: Having read the article, no - not about the "Jiffy Bag".

It is the 30 sachets of testerone that were delivered to the headquarters of the British TracK Program which also shared premised with Team Sky. Freeman was busted for having possession of banned drugs under the WADA Code on the premises which is an Anti-Doping Violation.

Morkov and Cav back together for one final trip around France almost a given now. I hope they sort out the stage finishes.

Have been closely watching Morkov - His sprinter has been struggling to jold his wheel in the final - Morkov still has it.

GCN+ finishing up in December. A real shame as it was great value and gave us more content than we’d ever had here before. Good chance most races will end up not being available legally anywhere here now.
Grab the eyepatch and raise the jolly roger it is then, unless it's on SBS

Expect Strade Bianche, MSR, Tirreno-Adriatico and Il Lombardia to be SBS from next year now.

In fact, they should be trying to cover every WT race. The ones they don't have apart from the above are:

UAE, Omloop het Nieuwsblad, Catalunya, Brugge De Panne, E3 Saxo, Itzulia Basque Country, Romandie, Suisse, San Sebastian, Pologne, Bretagne Classic, Renewi, Montreal, Quebec and Guangxi.

At least on SBS on Demand with the world feed.

Warner Bros. /Discovery new stream not launching here till 2025. Foxtel already ditched Eurosport, can't see it happening for 1 year. We will get nothing but FTA. I really liked the docos they were making. Don't know if SBS have 30min highlights on demand, if not needs to happen. Even if they made a cycling central app with podcasts and other content, put the NRS stuff on it.
