Strange that the VAR would spend a ton of time (correctly) awarding the penalty. But then miss the encroachment on the saved penalty

He is a better coach than Nicks, but this was a dumb decision.

Bovalina is the latest in the long line of players who have left United suddenly during the season. It has been a constant stream of exits all year which has affected team morale, team performance and short and long term success.

It seems a strange decision to me - why couldn't he wait till season end. we only had two games to go!!!I don think this is going to help his career in the long term.

Why did we allow this to happen? Why support a team that is so different to the side that i enjoyed seeing play at the beginning of the year?

It looks like Toure on the way out as well - did i hear France??

Its about time supporters asked serious questions over the leadership and ownership of this club. Where has all of the money gone from the sale of these players? Why have we not used this money to bring in much needed talent - such as a central defender? Are we just a clearance house or young players now?

What i dont want is a very good team in R1 being reduced to ressie status as a result of players leaving and no0one coming in to replace them.

The A league needs to bite the bullet and go back to winter

Given the A-League gets minimal attention in summer, that would probably become next to non-existent if they moved to a winter season.

The AL has never been played in winter although there is a fair crossover now that was never there with the original clubs. The Old NSL was and changed midway through its tenure to improve exposure. Problem in my opinion was too many teams and massive distances to games.

Being played in winter would be suicide as well as a few other codes share grounds in the offseason. Some clubs AU, MV WSW etc. get fairly good crowds. The original AL had good sponsorship and TV coverage. That has all that disappeared with only small coverage on C10 backchannels. If they played winter AFL and Rugby codes have all the coverage.
