First Game.

Would be interesting to see whom Tasmania would play first up. Both AFL and the VFL. As I am sure both games would sell. Wouldn’t want something like Tasmania vs Hawthorn. Big Victorian club maybe? Thoughts

Okay biased, but my Blues tend to get pretty good Tassie representation so it would be a good crowd.

This is a controversial one but I’d love us for the first game to be against gws or Gold Coast as we’ll pack out the stadium for the first game anyway and would be great to see the amount of pure Tasmanians supporting our team.

Both those teams have big representation when in Adelaide so I can only assume they'd travel to Hobart.

Love the idea of a Devils/Demons first game, but I think that fixture would be better suited smack back in the middle Dark Mofo in June. The city having that dark, eerie feeling would tie in so well.

First game should be against Richmond or St. Kilda.

Don't want to play a big Vic club, rather someone else like Brisbane or Freo. Purely selfish reasons that less likely to have intrastate fans travel and more tickets for locals. It will be a sell out no matter who we play.

The guarantee will be it will be round 2 (the afl will force them to have the bye in round 1) and it will be against a big Vic team at home to the choice of Tassie. So Carl/Coll/ESS/Rich or maybe Hawthorn because they spent so long down there

Would be funny to have it against the Suns. Purely for the reason of Cochrane and all the negativity he has had on Tassie early on.
