Nah they'll be coming in a fair whack come draft night. Future 2nd or they're stuck at the end of the line. You know who would like pick 76 & 94 - Port it is a big improvement on 112.
Maybe Port could bundle up a future 3rd and trade for them back?
so soft as a player
Its going to go down as one of trade weeks most pathetic efforts all in the name of “looking tough”
Absolutely embarrassing.
Reckon there’s a few red faced cats supporters in here atm
Wait…what? So hard at the trade table, so soft as a player
It'll move forward to the guys literally every team has passed on.

No you didntWell this trade sucks. Sav will be huge for Port next year. At least we had the decency to give up something of value in the trades we made last year
He won a Premiership as List Manager so I’d say so? not to mention picked up Henry, Bruhn, Bowes and Clark in one offseason. Is Mackie the new Dodoro? But actually successful.
We gave up Stephens who was a 1st round pick and multiple picks. No you didnt
You gave up nothing for Henry …and bled us in that deal
He was worth far more than 25.
As for Mackie….it’s almost like he wants be known as a tosser the way he has played this out
That is such a petty little melt from Mackie. Bloody hell.
If he wasn't the size he was, with his skill set, he'd struggle to get a game in the AFLW.
Agreed. If you're going to be a big macho tough guy on the trade table at least get picks within the top 70.Probably best he was moved on this was his last trade period.

He should be embarrassed
Did you or did you not get a Brownlow medallist midfielder and a pick that would have gotten you Ollie Hollands? No you didnt

Only a fringe player at Geelong because of how good Tom Stewart is. You don't need to do much playing next to him. I think he is walk in to pretty much all clubs except Melb, Brisbane, GWS, Collingwood and Saints.Port fans melting that they were trading #25 for a ‘fringe player / spud’ now thinking they’ve won the trade because of some inconsequential junk picks
At the risk of offending, he was soft asWait…what?
Dude wasn’t soft wtf lol
Mackie, what an absolute clown.
This is more embarassing then walking him into the draft. I knew this bloke had an ego from his playing days where he was a well known flog, but this is just ridiculous. Why put the player through it and waste everyone's time?
2nd this. Soft.At the risk of offending, he was soft as
I'm no expert, but the immediate thought at the outcome of this trade, coupled with Geelong's retirements and delistings (with not much else in terms of quantity coming back to take those senior list spots), is that Geelong will use at least two of those late picks for rookie upgrades (Dempsey and Mullin). So, yeah, it does look a little silly, but let's just wait and see what the Cats do on draft night before we cast judgement. What's the bet neither of them are taking u18s there anyway.
