Finally a win in the league - our first in over a month!

We're keeping in touch with the top handful, for now. Need another strong performance mid-week against Palace, with all of Tottenham, City and Liverpool facing relatively easy opponents.

We definitely did. Were 2-0 up after 4 mins.

City definitely helped with that though. They were a shambles defensively.

Tough opponent but I reckon they are just about the best you could have hoped for.

Crucial first leg in Spain. Have to at least give yourselves a chance heading into the home fixture.

Sunderland took on the might of Watford and prevailed 1-0. Feeling confident about our next encounter.

Definitely starting a Championship thread. Burnley thrashed Sunderland 4-1. A game where I thought at least a point was available. There's no doubt the EFA ****ed Sunderland's preparation by pinching the Manager during the pre-season. A new Manager threw out the old game plan (players) for a new game plan (new signings) and it has hasn't worked. There will be no miracles this season although it would be nice if Sunderland survived and Palace is relegated.

Still yet to break into the top 6 but we are not losing ground and seem to now be gelling nicely under Mourinho.

Huge game tomorrow morning between Chelsea and Tottenham - Chelsea win and they go 8 points clear at the top; Tottenham win and they leapfrog Arsenal and Man City into 3rd.

Hoping for a Chelsea win - with our next game being against Liverpool I'd hate to suddenly find ourselves 6 points adrift of 5th.
