There is precedent, Minson got a week from the bulldogs for slagging off Pearce years ago. His reaction was no where are bad as Petty so it’s safe to assume his words were highly offensive . Technically it’s a work place too so Zorko is in some trouble.

Nope, got off but Hedland punched him in the face and got zero weeks too in the end.

If only footy were like ice hockey so that the next time these two teams meet we could watch Zorko square off with Melksham as soon as the siren goes and go toe to toe with the umpires watching on and then eventually stepping in after Zorko turtles on the ground after the umpteenth punch he received, both player get 5 for fighting Zorko off for an extended period due to blood rule and concussion test protocols.

I recon he’ll get 2 weeks. The lions will appeal and there will be footage from the other angle where Zorko is only half insulting Petty and also the ball, he just got in the way. It will fail.

Brisbane will then appeal again and this time on legal technicalities. The AFL will check the Brownlow tallies and since Zorko is no where near it the suspension will stand.
