No to mention the fact that compensation starts to be a thing after we lost the league's most valuable player ...PSP compensation revealed: What each club gets for losing players to expansion
The AFL has confirmed the compensation each club will receive after losing players to expansion clubs during the priority signing period earlier this yearwww.afl.com.au
So we only get an end of first round pick as compensation for losing McEvoy, a former Pick 2.
Pies and Lions get a middle of first round pick for losing Molloy and Bates respectively.
I'm feeling a little ripped off yet again.

The Carlton Football Club is aware AFLW defender Vaomua Laloifi experienced racial vilification during the Club’s Round 9 game against Essendon.
The incident occurred during the third quarter, where it is understood targeted comments were made directly at Laloifi from a currently unidentified individual in the crowd.
Laloifi notified the Club of what had occurred, with the Club immediately contacting the AFL Integrity Unit representative, who was present at the ground.
The Club will continue to work with the AFL Integrity Unit as the investigation continues.
AFTER a breakout season, Keeley Sherar has earned a nomination in the 2023 All-Australian squad.
Sherar joined the Blues through the 2021 AFLW Draft where she was selected at pick No.11, earning a Rising Star nomination in her first game back in season six.
Since then, the 20-year-old has been a mainstay in the Carlton side, earning her reputation as a tough midfielder with the athleticism to run, chase and tackle which she combines with her kicking skills.
"though the Blues have already been informed she will not be heading to Ikon Park."
CARLTON'S young star Mia Austin has been selected at centre half-forward in the 2023 22under22 team.
At just 19 years old, Austin has made a name for herself in the AFLW. After missing the majority of season seven following a serious injury, Austin came back firing, putting her talent on full display.
