I think this season is the worst level of umpiring I’ve seen. Wildly inconsistent.

Didn't notice the free kicks until it popped up on the screen. Went from 4-4 to 11-5 in north's favour. Frees don't have to be even but seems odd to have a jump like that.

North are in the game but it feels that they just won't be able to go the distance with essendon. Essendon are a type of team that could find a few goals quickly particularly if the games in the balance. Goals are just a bit hard to come by for north.

Actually playing to your talent. Bombers % is a true reflection of where they are at. Had a heap of lucky close wins against rubbish opponents and are frauds. We are seeing the real Bombers now even though you will still win today installing more false hope.

Easy bottom of the 8 draw also helps. Not expecting the close to 10k days since a finals win to be stopped this season.
