It's just embarrassing Port fans scapegoat umpires when the umpires were gifting them terrible decisions that would lead to Port goals, but let's ignore that and focus on the other team to somehow justify Port's inaccuracy and wasted opportunities.
Fully aware port botched it, and umpires could have ended up not being a factor, but if you want that standard of umpiring for all games, then by all means downplay their ineptitude. Port benefited this week from a mark that was oof, but 2 weeks ago the ball was a 1m oof, which cost us a goal, yet everyone had a laugh at it and now it's atleast 3 times in the first 3 rounds where the ball has been out by near 1m and missed by umpires. At some stage it will happen to your team, cost a game and won't seem funny any more. Umpires are professionals, they should be kept accountable and performances not glossed over. Anyway, it's time to move on.
I agree. But the Rozee free kick kept you guys in the game, not lost you the game. And all of the free kicks were there. It was only 1 dropping the ball that was missed. Everything else was there.
