It’s a cult and cults allow their leaders to get away with all sorts of crimes and atrocities.
And America is the most fertile breeding ground for cults in the world.

Not the least being the cult of the American Dream, which so many Americans continue to believe in, despite all evidence to the contrary (probably the number one indicator of a cult).

As I read recently, “Let’s be honest, America is practically the last place on earth where you’d have any chance of living the American Dream. If you’re really determined to pull yourself up by your bootstraps, you’d be far better off pursuing the American Dream in somewhere like Finland.”

Hard to argue against the blahs!!
They only need to read this part:

Additionally, and importantly, the difference in the level of cooperation between Trump versus Clinton, Pence and Biden could not be greater. The latter three cooperated with attempts by the National Archives to retrieve the information in their possession. Likely uncoincidentally, investigators found their actions to be unintentional or sloppy — none worthy of prosecution. Clinton claimed she did not know she was not permitted to keep certain information on her private server and other devices, and it’s not clear Pence and Biden even realized they had the information, which was handled by their staffs. They should have been more careful, but that doesn’t mean they should have been indicted.

On the other hand, Trump’s actions, as described in the indictment, were deliberate and willful. Not only did he not voluntarily turn over documents when repeatedly asked to do so by the National Archives, but the indictment charges he either took active steps to conceal them or ordered or solicited others for help in withholding them.

Unfortunately, those idiots in the following report are probably not going to bother reading anything. Trump tells them all they need to know.

I do not think there could possibly be a more dangerous time in history for Trump to be re-elected. It simply cannot happen.

Russia is doing Russia things. China is meeting headwinds. UK is a basket case.

There is a fair bit going on at the moment and Trump getting re-elected and fellating Putin again whilst he abandons Europe cannot end well.

Or perhaps now’s the time we look elsewhere. The US’ moral leadership has long been questionable, and the fact we keep up that charade despite the fact they are clearly capable of electing Donald Trump as their President is all the more questionable. As was the case in the US of the majority of sitting Democrats (rightly) calling him an enormous threat and yet giving him his requested military spending every time.

Is the US in the same situation as the Soviet Union in the 1980s, or are they already Russia in the 1990s? The EU are already preparing themselves to be a claimant to the power. Here in Australia, we blindly stick to the Anglosphere with AUKUS, because those two countries are clearly the future.

I’ve never been interested in politics or reality TV at all but god-damn if Donald hasn’t accidentally produced the greatest and wackiest, most addictive show on earth. Throw in the courtroom drama and crazy characters - instant ratings success. TFG would say the bigliest and most beautiful ratings ever. He loves his ratings. Got me hooked! Australian politics is so boring in comparison.

It’s all fun until democracy ends.
