I first met Ed in person at Jordan Russell’s wedding … a very cool guy … and his fitness levels were not limited to just the footy field … he was the last man standing that night … absolutely brilliant performance … his dancing skills well let’s just say very Eduardo like lol … all the best to him in retirement a great clubman … well done Ed

I am sure Ed didn't need someone like Aunt Harriet to dress himself though

I feel like Ed was truly one of the leaders and glue guys of our playing group who took it upon himself to try lift the spirits of his teammates (esp the kids) during the dark/bleak times over the past decade or so, even this season during our losing skid and especially the now legendary Camp Curnow !


You will be sorely missed Ed. And thanks for always for being such a morale booster and leader when the boys needed you to be.

Ed has been an absolute warrior for our club. Seems like he was not only respected by our club, but by the opposition. Joel Selwood nominated him as his toughest opponent to beat. What a huge compliment from one of the toughest players to have played the game.
