Player Watch #29: Will Phillips

Trots around looking lost. Zero intensity, should not be playing one's until he can get a kick in the two's.

I've always been a Will Phillips supporter thinking the glandular fever and a few other things have effected he's development but my patience is wearing thin. Has been horrible since coming back into the side
Heeeeeerrrree they can come …
The poor excuses for underperforming screwed up draft picks … GGF
“Give the number back you flog “ #29 is sacred @ North !

Not really interested in the ancient games of “told-you-so” concerning past drafts, but after all the character and professionalism this bloke has shown through adversity, I did wish he could string together a quality season this year, but alas, it’s looking so unlikely isn’t it.

Been his biggest supporter but looks to be yet another victim of our piss poor development.

He was an in and under ball winner in juniors, so let’s play him in the stoppages on the defensive side as a 3rd receiver? Makes absolutely no sense.

Overcoached and devoid of confidence.
What a cop out. He's no good and that's on him.

He sets our rebuild back a few years.

* we know how to pick them.
No he doesn’t. What a terrible call. The sh*t-for-brains recruitment and development staff have done that.

Pick either the VFL or AFL team to play the rest of year in to get consistency and fitness.

Not looking good however- reactive, second-guessing, no fitness or confidence.

Has 22 other mates.

Well yeah indirectly he sets us back. Looking at his draft year though there wasnt that much more to choose from.

Not sure you can entirely blame development for Will.

If you're going to play midfield in this comp and at his modest height and size you better have stand out athletic traits.

Will's slow and he has no contest to contest running capacity.
