The epitome of the best kind of hard working club man and deserves to rank right alongside all the superstar premiership legends, he was every bit as important. Always covering the extra miles to get to yet another contest, make his teammates look better or to make us consistently the side who defended and attacked like we had an extra player available.
Seeing him on the bench assisting today you couldn't help but think of a battered prize fighter whose body wanted to sleep in but their brain couldn't resist the compulsion to be in the gym the morning after 'retirement.'
Thanks for everything Lambo and long may we see you in Tiger colours.
