Great comeback from the Saffers, made 3 changes to a side that was donkey walloped a week ago & got home by 198 runs.

The guys scoring the big runs Erwee, Verreynne & there’s Petersen to come in also.

Deserves a 3rd test too.

nz lose money playing tests at home and play as few as possible, kiwis on reddit try and act like they are victims with this stuff but its their board who want these short series.

SA still have a lot of issues but twice in consecutive series against very credible opponents they have come back from pretty deflating defeats and won/squared the series. Petersen for Markram would be the obvious change in the short term.

Worth remembering the Kiwis have been without Williamson all summer, and Boult for this series and Taylor is only two tests out of their side, as poor as his last 12 months were. Their openers against quality bowling are an issue

Even with a few people missing it was an awful summer for kiwis, 4 tests vs low ranked opponents they could have easily been number 1 in rankings right now and in a great spot for defending their test championship.

Watching the replay tonight, and had a huge laugh at the Proteas' fielding just then...they have been sledging Jamieson ever since he strode to the crease...he pops up the easiest catch of all time and down she goes...now had the fielder used his mouth instead of his hands, no way it gets dropped - it is certainly big enough.
