North Warrnambool Eagles have had some loss in the Reserves football ranks. It's sounding like they have had 8 players choose to play district league next year after being offered some reasonable contracts by teams such as Allansford, Russell's Creek and Merrivale. Players such as Nick Mills, Josh Monoghan, Josh Stapleton and Chris Malone. Ressies are important to the depth of a club and even though the senior list is strong North would be hoping for a few new faces to bolster the ressies ranks.

Hoping it's Brad Fisher that means that they might win a game.
no it doesn't my friend. an ex league player would be the worst thing for port, as history shows with its recruits the last few years. port need a local bloke passionate for the club (hopefully a couple still around) willing to do the job for a fair price and then spend the dollars picking up some cattle. Not one player for 60k (what ex afl players expect) but 6 or 7 for 7 or 8k each. blokes 24 or 25 that have played senior country footy and that can help out with the younger guys at the club. you can not fix port with recruiting, the younger players need development if the club is to survive.

Former Koroit midfielder Issac Templeton will return to play for his old club in 2013 as he is returning home from playin in Geelong last season.

North Ballarat classy midfielder Will Pomerin is tipped to land at Terang/Mortlake Bloods in 2013 as he joins his brother on the field. Gus Pomerin has been at Terang/Mortlake since leaving South Warrnambool. Will was chased by South, North Warrnambool and Ter/Mort with family being the big lure to the Bloods.

South Warrnambool's Jarrod Thompson has signed with Yarrawonga says a source in South Warrnambool, they have also lost the services of ruckman Mick Havelin who intends to return to Melbourne. It's a big blow to an already struggling roosters outfit. Don't be surprised to see more go.

Breaking News: Port Fairy have signed ex SANFL Glenelg player Sam Rudolph as Coach for the 2013 season. Sam is 28 years old and played for Box Hill a few years ago. He is a top line player and key defender. It's a great get for Port Fairy but this is just the start for them with many players needed to help boost chances next season.

Port Fairy are also on the verge of singing North Ballarat gun Marc Greig as assistant coach. Some handy work and big $$$$ being thrown around.

Rumours surfacing that South Warrnambool have lost another player, know as a forward for the roosters. Names as they come to hand. Trouble at Rooster land....
