Who has chiltern spent money on apart from there coaches? Heard on the weekend that ladgroves heading to north Wang. Also curious on wahgunyahs prospects for next year with a coaching change, better/worse.

These Ladgroves must be good, playing for 5 clubs so far, never heard of them to be honest. Maybe they are going to do an Akermanis and make special appearances for lots of clubs in different Leagues......for a fee.

Had a non playing coach lined up but had to leave the area due to work commitments, word has it. Be interested to know more about this non playing coach at Tallangatta. Why leave it so late to sign him?
Tim Seymour was a gun in his days at Saints. He would be a handy pick up for any Tallangatta League club.

Saints and Hoppers would want to get someone in the chair pretty quickly you would think. Any truth to the annual rumour that Andy Carey going to Beechworth. Some clubs have been parading their recruits around, others have been very quiet, have they got no recruits yet or are they just keeping the cards close to the chest.

A mate of mine who has coached before was called yesterday for the first time to see if he would be interested in the Tallangatta Coaching job. He wasn't. But if Tallangatta are still trying to sound out various possible coaches I think they are in real trouble as its November and I would say that no-one quite has the job sown up as yet.

Might go some of the way to replacing your Donnan and Kannenberg types that the rumour mill is saying sre not heading back.......
Surely if you are a Saints or Hoppers man you must be getting worried about 2012.. Almost mid November and no coaching appointments as yet.
With most O&M clubs training already kicking off TDFL clubs are usually never to far behind would be difficult without a coach.
Any other recruiting news from other clubs? Seems to be a tad quiet.

Both Heta and Nichol would be more then useful recruits if true........
Heta would be handy in the TDFL and would certainly Barny imporve on last year.
Nichol would certainly be another string in the Chiltern bow. Would be great for the Durbidge, Wilson signings plus the ones that have already committed.
Saints annoucement impending in the very near future............... Word at Tallangatta is Max Duncan has the gig but nothing as yet on the announcement.
Heard today from one of there players that tallangatta have signed a coach, he used to play there then went up to mitta he is a school teacher out at tallangatta, not sure how much truth is in it but wish a list like theres no one is signed russel, chilton, nye deff gone and a few more un happy what a job to take on.
Geoff Lowcock???? Have the Saints made any inroads to getting a coach, its hard enough to retain players let alone recruit any without one.

Would have thought you would be referring too Scott Amery. Didn't play many if any senior games at both clubs. If you haven't signed someone by now surely things must be dire as I would have thought clubs would be considering starting training within the next fortnight.
Any news from Kiewa, Yack, Beechworth or Dederang? It is quiet on those fronts.
yep scott amery thats the name i got told, if thats true with what u say about his football well then there must be nothing around. heard chiltern coach is not happy with the club has players to get but the club wont spend the money, matt nichol is signed. kiewa talking to a few but wont b signing for a few weeks if they do at all they look set to lose bartel and jye shields, it said that dederang had signed sims boys from raiders, but that was from cory lambert nothing from the bombers yet only look set to lose m bradshaw big loss for them but, the bushies are real quite nick dillion up there might b just keeping them under wraps i think he will b great for them

as for the chiltern coach not being happy, recon he'd be quite the opposite, sounds as though they have recruited ok, better than the last few years. and they have some kids from last years thirds side that could step up so where do you draw the line.

Good point off the bench- where do you draw the line? why go out and recruit 15 blokes and the local kids not get a game? who else have they recruited? you seem to be in the know a bit down the highway!!!
