JJK

The question we will all ask is what has happened to his radar?

3.6 today! THREE GOALS SIX

The man mountain was again a tireless working in our forward 50, trying his best lock the ball inside and create opportunities for his team-mates. JJK tallied 16 disposals, 8 marks & 2 tackles.

Hopefully our great FF can get his radar switched on for he and our beloved Eagles face a very stern test v Geelong away in RND 7.

A rare moment of celebration..

We got pantsed. On the road. Again.

JJK was more accurate this week but only had the 10 touches with 4 marks. 3 goals 1 however wasn't a bad return. WCE seems to be very Kennedy conscious at times as JJK is always seemingly against 2-3 opponents.

He has 20 goals and 17 behinds in 2016.

That 1st quarter.

Amazing stuff from the main man, kicking a massive 5 goals. JJK was literally everywhere. Nothing he did went wrong it was simply a stunning onslaught.

However he didn't add to his tally from there as the heavens opened up a little and the smaller men came into play. Still he was his busy self, harassing and causing discomfort amongst the undersized St Kilda defence. He finished with 5.1, 13 touches, 6 marks and 4 tackles.

A magnificent 7 for Papa JJK!

What a wonderful return from our magnificent spearhead. 7 goals straight away from Subiaco against the Port defence.

JJK was simply dominant today, along with those 7 he clunked 4 marks with 4 tackles and had the ball 15 times. The pressure he provides is first class and the above picture is JJK turning on a dime and leaving his direct opponent in his wake. Amazing game from an amazing man.

Keep it up JJK!

JJK was at his absolute best today, managing to take the game away from a horrendously undermanned Gold Coast team. He kicked 5, which included 4 in the first half.

With 14 disposals and 10 marks, JJK was a telling offensive weapon that couldn't be denied. He also laid 3 tackles, again underlying his presence in our attacking 50. JJK is now only 3 goals behind Buddy Franklin in the race for the Coleman.

Apologies - internet has been down all weekend in my suburb, its just come back (about an hour ago). I wasn't posting an update from my phone that's for sure.

Will add stats soon.

One this is for certain - s**t day, s**t game.

Picture says it all.

A nearly day, away from home, for JJK.

The noises are loud about our lads away from our fortress that is Domain, and JJK is one that cops it, sometimes unfairly, in the face regarding this roller-coaster ride.

This time it was deserved.

JJK was beaten numerous times by the swarming defense the Dogs played, albeit the delivery not quite what we would like for our star full forward. Amassing a paltry 5 disposal and 3 marks, JJK kicked a solitary goal late in the game. He did lay 6 tackles though,. showing he does, even on the down days, try his hardest to get back in the game.

The task doesn't get any easier this week, with Talia & the Crows looking to be the first opponent to knock off the Mighty Eagles at home. Will be a stern test.

JJK did his Coleman chances no harm today, by kicking 5 straight in a game that can only be described as....putrid.

JJK had 10 disposals, a solitary mark and 3 tackles. Despite the 5 snaggers, it didn't seem to be a productive day for the bearded full forward. A break now, before he gets to feast on the Bombers for Thursday night football.

Enjoy your break JJK and get ready for your defence of the Coleman medal because I'm not sure we can really threaten for anything else in 2016.

Big JJK was expected y many to go absolutely HAM on a undermanned Essendon side, but that never really eventuated. The entire side was down early and when the skis inevitably came out, Simpson sat JJK out for the last 7 minutes.

JJK kicked 3.1 and had a hand in two others. He only took 3 marks though, with Hartley never really letting him out of arms length and having help from his Essendon teammates regularly. JJK had 9 touches on this night.

Finally a win against a top 8 side!

And JJK did some damage, kicking 4.4 in a dominant display that could have easily been 6.2

JJK had 15 touches with 8 marks. He was always presenting and causing many headaches for both Thompson and Tarrant, giving the WC mids a big target to hit. JJK also laid 2 tackles in the F50, making sure the ball stayed in our attacking 50 as long as he could. Good day for JJK and West Coast, hopefully things are starting to turn.

JJK is currently tied with Lance 'Buddy' Franklin with 53 apiece in the race for the Coleman Medal.

The game against the Blues was meant to be a confidence booster, shooing away demons from past losses and instilling some confidence that we, West Coast, could actually make a difference in 2016.

Well by FT, WCE were asking more questions, than at game commencement & my man JJK played what was probably his worst game in his career.

Fumbly as all heck from the very start, JJK failed to put a big gap between him and Buddy in the race for the Coleman.

Kicking just 2 goals 1, it was the dropped marks, the frees against and the clangers that made the day even worse. He managed 8 disposals, with 5 marks.

This game will be long forgotten, if it hasn't already.

A game where Melbourne dominated every stat, including the inside 50's JJK managed to snag 3 crucial goals in a close win.

JJK was given no latitude today, the Melbourne defence relying on sound team defence to lock JJK out of the game. Josh had a good 3 min burst where he booted 2 goals and a moment of brilliance with a snap around the corner in the 3rd to keep us in touch. Given he only had 7 disposal tell s a story as he worked hard without huge reward. Kennedy also laid 4 tackles and took two marks.

JJK has the lead in the Coleman by a solitary goal, with Buddy and Tom Lynch breathing down his neck.

Another away game, another dismal performance.

JJK was again below his very best, kicking 2.2 with 2 out on the full. He also gave away a crucial free late (HTB) when we may have had a chance to garner some momentum.

JJK gathered 12 touches, took 7 marks and laid 4 tackles. But he failed when we needed him the most.

JJK leads the Coleman Medal race by a solitary goal from Lance Franklin.

May I present to you, your most recent RG medallist, JJK

A big day for our big FF, who hasn't had it all his own way lately.

JJK kicked 7 telling goals and was the major difference between West Coast & Freo.

Gathering 13 disposals with 8 marks, JJK kicked goals form everywhere today and had a massive influence on the game during the 3rd term when he bagged 3 goals. JJK also laid 3 tackles.

This bag of 7 is telling, as it has given JJK a lead of 6 with 3 rounds to go.

On what was an amazing day for the WCE, JKK was pivotal early with his presence and work around the grounds. If not for inaccurate kicking early, JJK may have shut the door on the Coleman medal race.

JJK kicked 3.3 with 13 disposal but also took 7 telling mark, 5 of those inside F50. He also managed to lay 3 tackles. He was impressive against Phil Davis who is no mug and was more than a handful for the Giant defence.

JJK has a 3 goal lead on Buddy for the Coleman, it would be a great way to end the year if JJK could go back to back Coleman medallist, the 1st since Fraser Gehrig 2003 & 2004

In a big game v the Hawks on the big Friday night stage, JJK did his chances of going back to back as the Coleman Medallist no harm.

A dominant 3rd qtr from the big man saw him kick 3 goals and really put the Hawthorn defence under extreme pressure. Kicking 5 for the night, JJK had 9 touches with 7 marks. He also laid one tackle.

With the 5 goals, JJK opened up an 8 goal buffer on Lance Franklin, with one H&A round remaining.

Signs are good for a back to back Coleman Medal for the great man.

We're backing you JJK!

JJK

What can I say about JJK?

Tonight he kicked a bag on a fairly decent opponent in Talia. Made him look 2nd rate in fact.

JJK has a 13 goal lead on Franklin and quite frankly, I feel it isn't too early to go the crow - JJK is your 2016 Coleman Medallist.

He was simply wonderful tonight on his way to 5 goals 1, with 8 marks and 13 disposals and a tackle. He is a born leader at West Coast and is never far away from the play.

It has been an absolute honour sponsoring you Josh in your back to back Coleman year, here's to a successful finals campaign!
