The reason anybody competes in it is for the grand final tickets, it’s a meaningless event.

I remember working at the club as an intern when that happened and I got to see his GPS data afterwards.

In that one chase he beat his personal best top speed by 2km/h and blew out his hammy doing so

Just goes to show you the mindset of the bloke!

If I recall correctly his previous best was in the low 32km/h and during this chase he clocked out at 34.5km/h

It appears everything other than leg speed gets first preference just quietly.

I want more from him.

Maybe that is an unrealistic expectation.

He is an ok/good player, so I'm not criticising him. His courage also can't be disputed.

However his round 1t game against the Hawks should be his standard, not just an outlier.

Maj almost lapped the last two runners and he won looking back over his shoulder trying to work out where the others were.

With respect to Luke for the time he shredded his hamstring chasing Cyril, the eye test says he's slow.

Majak's athleticism was in a different stratosphere. Actually Majak was just an exception, gifted beyond reason.
