foley has a slight groin tear was told from a reliable source obviously cant mention names he has been taken off the track 3-4 week injury:eek:

Probably explains the reported hobbling at the last intra-club match. :(

Please be ready by round 1 Foley with no complications. We need you.

That is horrible news, But as has been said, at least it was now, not in 6 weeks time.

Get well without complications buddy!

Bad news, think I was the one who posted it on here after that first praccy game. He was boundary umpiring in the last game though and was stil l getting around pretty well. Had ankles taped and was working pretty hard up and down the line so it can't be too bad (e.g. like Juddy walking laps on every tv report last year when he was injured with the groin). Shame though, not a good time to miss sessions but seems to be capable of running so shouldn't get too far behind.

Not trolling (this time)

But weeks ago, i did read Foley may have had OP, are you guys sure its just a tear or is is it the onset of OP.

I only ask as he is the main drive in your engine room, and IMO the most important player to move RFC off the bottom.

Hopefullu he is fit as is Deledio, as i would want both team to be fit from round one (Carlton minus injured Hackland, wishing) so that it is the contest we are all hoping for.

Good luck in recovery.

We're pretty sure he doesnt.

Luke Mcguane did and is getting over it but Foley had a snap problem where he was hobbling not an onset of gradual pain as is the case with OP so I think he's fine. Im sure he'll see you in round 1. :)

Does anyone know what is wrong with Thursfield, as David King suggested he also wouldn't be playing in the NAB cup

Been in Rehab group (not sure why). All our praccy matches have been without him and McGuane. This is why Tuck has been playing defence.

Wouldn't suprise me if he wasn't. But with Judd potentially out of the round 1, it would have bene great to play Cotchin and Foley in Round 1 to really hurt them

Without starting a debate on Judd, he seems to be on track for round one.

It was reported on return from South Africa he has completed his first full session since the operation, so i can only assume he'll be right.

Hopefully for the Tigers, Foley and Lids are both right and we can really see where we are both at...nothing like a 80,000 crowd watching 2 of the biggest rivals going to head to head.
