I used to work in Laverton. A person who was coming to see me for a meeting hadn't turned up so i called him to see where he was, and if he had forgotten about our meeting. He assured me he hadn't forgotten and that he wasn't too far away as he had just gone past the first Albury turn off...
Re: AFL venues required to provide Muslim prayer rooms
How about a room where i can take my beer at half time and drink and smoke in accordance with my traditional cultural practice instead of having to leave my beer inside while i smoke outside in the rain?
And once Victoria parts ways with the Feds i'm starting up a group that will see Altona to break away from Victoria. Julia will be available shortly to head up Altona too. :thumbsu:
I know a group of dogs supporters who left the MCG at 3/4 time of the 1997 preliminary to go to the Western Oval to line up for Grand Final tickets. They pulled into the Western Oval car park just as the final siren went. I still find this funny.
He didn't just hit him. He shattered McFarlanes jaw in a behind the play incident in a reserves game in 1997. McFarlane still has three steel plates in his jaw.
If there is no advantage, why weren't all 'new' candidates made to wait until the election instead of one being brought on to the board one month out from the election?
Google 'advantages of incumbency' and you might get it.
Funny how you now decide to get on here and defend the sisterHood. Didnt feel the need to help CC out when SLF and Pharro were on her case about not being up to it? Or does the 'Sister's are doing it for themselves' routine only applies to JB's chosen few?
They may not have to pay Lyon but they might have to make redundency payments to assistant coaches and other staff the new coach decides to move on. Just a theory...
Being the voice of equality, impartiality and all that, yeah sure you will.
Just like last year, any member who has the audacity to exercise their right to stand for election against your 'mates' chosen candidate will be scrutinised by yourself in a way you would never subject an 'annointed'...
These two had no chance of being re-elected. So in a pre-emptive strike, the board (once again) has chosen an underhanded, immorral and undemocratic method of controlling the club. Some things never change. Watch the coming posts for Pharro to defend the actions of his mate JB, Euge to tell us...
A Tinker is the derogatory name given to Irish gypsy's, in the same way UK gypsy's are called Pikey's. A cuss is a swear word thus making a 'Tinkers Cuss' a really bad swear word.
So despite the fact Abbott is up 60 40 2pp in the polls and ahead on the PPM by +5 and increasing, you think he might be replaced before the next poll. However you believe Gillard, who is behind 60 40 2PP and behind PPM by -5 and increasing, will lead the ALP to the next election...
Those in safe seats may see it as two more years in power before they head to the opposition benches. Those in marginal seats may see it as two more years in power before they head to the dole queue where demand for an incompetent party hack who's resume lists 'achievements' such as grocery...
Your analogy is just dumb but to use it anyway, if you do no training for the next two years does your fitness improve or get worse? You can loose by a little bit now because you haven't trained for a year, or by plenty in two years time because you haven't trained for 3 years.
