the smaller one over the back is a flow, but its a young hive populated from a NUC only late this season so the flow super hasnt gone on yet, we did have an ideal on it for a month or so but they hadnt build out the brood box yet so hadnt needed the extra space, heres the super painted up waiting to go on,

SpiderBurton22 it sounds like there was a bit of fun and games down at Cobden during the week.

Only a month late replying😁, never got a notification but yes a Warrnambool bloke kicked a goal half a second after the siren went that would have won the game for them.

The 2 timekeepers were 6 seconds apart but the home teams(Cobden) timekeeper took preference and he blew the siren according to his time.

Was a bit of banter in the WIll Dawson thread re Gippslald,

There is a bit of discussion over the years where the western boundary actually is?

-Politically the bawbaw , bass and south gippy shires are considered the area boundary , not so much cardinia.

-Geographically its a bit different, the cardinia creek catchment is pretty much considered the geographical western edge of Gippsland,

Dandenong once used to coin the phrase "Gateway to Gippsland"
With the making of the Gippsland Road (Princes Highway) in 1858, Dandenong became a staging place for Cobb & Co. Nicknamed the 'gateway to Gippsland'

However Dandenong really is the last part of metro Melbourne before you have outer suburbia that pushes well out past Pakenham and the last of the suburban trains, Dandenong creek also drains into the Paterson river/Port Philip bay rather than Westernport bay,

The West Gippy Football league hosts teams which are all considered Gippsland teams,
Bunyip
Cora Lynn
Dalyston
Garfield
Inverloch Kongwak
Kilcunda Bass
Koo Wee Rup
Korumburra Bena
Nar Nar Goon
Phillip Island
Tooradin Dalmore
Warragul Industrials

I'm a westerner, but always thought it was Nar Nar Goon and Koo Wee Rup, as the border. Everything beyond that is Gippsland
