OK, in light of the thread ill be bold.

Essendon will rise this year. Significantly. Maybe 4-6, if we get in the 4 we will play a PF.

One team i am really interested in is the Doggies. A fit lake back will make a substantial difference although losing ward and harbrow to expansion clubs really leaves them lacking in players in that 21-26 age bracket, so theyll need to rise soon if theyre anychance in the future, if not I can see them sliding into the bottom few for a substantial rebuild.

Westcoast could do anything also. They are every chance of falling out of the 8, but just as much chance IMO of pushing for a spot in the big dance. If injuries are similar to this year im tipping the latter.

Carlton need to have a dig this year or next IMO because their list is choc-a-block for midfield class, though they only have one decent tall player in Jamieson. Waite is forever injured and IMO i dont see Henderson as a viable long term KPF like some tell me he will be. As a defender maybe, but they still lack class down the spine and i dont know if they can rectify that whilst Judd is still in full flight.

Geelong IMO should be favorite, you can never write them off. Would love to see them take it out again.

Collingwood i see taking a fall, not too far only a few positions, for one season untill theyre used to the new coaching from bucks. I dont think theyll play off in the GF.
