31 points at Gosnells yesterday. 18 to half time, 24 after 12, then fatigue of playing 5 days in a row set in. Finished with 31, 0 lost balls. Beautiful course.
5 lost balls playing Joondalup, Araluen and The Cut, Very happy with that.

1st rd Foursomes Club Champs yesterday.
Was a bit of fun, currently sitting eq 3rd (i think) and still talking to my playing partner.....although if he hadn't of missed 3 x 2ft putts, and hit it in the bloody knee high rough off the tee.......

Pride has taken a hit the last 2 days.
105 at Marangaroo yesterday
108 at The Cut today.

The cut is phenomenal, most scenic course I’ve played, but it was brutal.

Had my first Eagle putt at Marangaroo on the 9th, with an absolutely smashed drive and stomped my hybrid onto the green.



… 3 putted, but didn’t leave it short!

Earlier today I saw a club member on the 18th attempt an imitation of aimpointing. She was straddling her ball - I guess checking the incline, but am pretty sure she wasn’t - rather than on the intended line. Pros have a lot to answer for.

Was told in a divorcesomes at Portsea, the bride was fed up with the constant “instructions “ from the hubby that on about the 12th hole when it was her turn to putt, she deliberately putted the ball across the green into a bunker….hubby was quiet for the rest of the round.

Thinking I could find someone to have a hit Wed / Thurs mid morning as who wouldn't take these three days off, but seems like everyone committed to the work grind.

Playing solo sucks too.

But may head down the peninsula and play somewhere I haven't for a while, Cape Schank or Portsea, we will see.

I was playing a stab one day with a mate who had been heckling me all round. I was just outside his ball and he’s bragging about getting a read off me again for about the fifth time in the round. Second last hole and I’m putting for a point. I’m nearly 30 points so no great round going on. I face sideways and whack it off the green somewhere. Geez, he was pissed!

Played golf at peninsula today. An ok score given the hard conditions and pin positions. Didnt lose a ball until the last hole.

Very good putting despite 4 putting the first lol.

i would not have shot in the 90s for the last 30 years...but twice in the last month I was above 100. St Andrews and Beacon hills today. Falling off the golf cliff due to the body telling me to go get ****ed is not so nice.

Horrible conditions to open at the national. and the golf reflected the downpour of rain. Lowest score maybe forever. Lucky to get into the 20s.
