I hadn't played it since around covid times. The upgraded club house and practice facility was nice there.

Yeah it’s better, but why doesn’t the Clubhouse overlook the course???

Holes are a long way from there...perhaps he cost of getting power etc. out there was a limiting factor?

A return to Peninsula Kwod today. Havent played that course for 6 weeks and it showed. Putting was absolute dog shit. 5 x three putts.

Birdied 6. Golf easy.
Full blown shank on 2, nearly decapitated fella on 3 tee.
Yips appeared , then holed a couple of monster putts.
Golf.
How good was it out there?

I can't imagine how sloppy it would be underfoot at the likes of Brookwater or Robina amongst the trees in the shade

Into my lowest HC of 11.9, but with a 10 coming off in two rounds need something semi reasonable there. Assuming its tight course which doesnt suit me at all way.

Yeah.. at least the weather was nice today. Haven't been on a course since early Feb now. Got Wantima scheduled for next weekend, hopefully it dries out by then

Played Port Fairy today.
Fun track, wind played havoc.
Some great holes along the coast. Really enjoyed the par 3’s.
Score was entirely forgettable.

I would not have run him out there again this weekend. But he certainly did put together a round that was pretty remarkable given the last two Sundays.

3rd straight Saturday tied or outright leader
2nd straight Saturday with at least 4 shot lead

29 points in pretty blustery conditions. Not good enough.

I also didnt break 30. Very windy. Putting was gtfo because of it. Lost two balls off the tee and didnt bother reloading or looking for them.

Lunch was good however.
