Greens just got cored and sanded pre Christmas so not quite back to best. We’ve got PD on The Furrows to give it a trial. I have heard some murmurs about PD being a bit susceptible to disease…
I’m pretty sure the grass we have is only at KH and Augusta, and we have a big batch of seed in cold storage. I don’t think they’ll change in the short term.
I would like to see them quicken up a bit though but can be risky in summer.

Cheers - is PD on all Furrows greens? I heard it may have been on just one but unsure. Playing it tomorrow night so would be good to know.

A solid 36 points in some pretty tough conditions with the wind today. Voltaren worked its wonders today.

40k winds at the national today.

Played ok despite the score. Restructuring of swing continues. Putting very good thanfully as was chipping around the greens. Lost two balls. No three putts.

Enjoyable company with members i have not met before. The National burger was really nice and i did not finish it.

Damn hot on course this arvo.
32pts with 4 wipes
Was absolutely flushing the mini driver….love it.
Only took 7 clubs with me today, the holes I wiped are because I forgot to take a SW, and had trouble getting out of a few pots.

The course is in magnificent condition which is a big tick to the club considering the amount of traffic it’s seen over the last few weeks. Greens and fairways sublime.

I shot 97/82 (par 70) in the monthly medal on Saturday at City Golf Club Toowoomba and then brought up the perfect ton today at Beerwah Golf Club playing off 14 (par 72). The confidence is shot atm but I’m still enjoying golf. Not enjoying these competition rounds of over or just under 5 hours.
I’m in Brisbane from yesterday until Wednesday staying with my wife who lives in Southbank. I’m moving to Brisbane in the middle of the year when we move to Ashgrove. I’ll join Ashgrove Golf Club most likely but I should play there first to check it out.
My daughter was supposed to play 1st grade cricket yesterday against Valleys but overnight rain got under the covers. I was pissed because it would’ve been the best game I’ve seen on paper in grade cricket. Jess Jonassen was playing for Valleys and Georgia Redmayne was playing for Wests. Both sides were littered with Fire and Heat players as well as former U19 and U16 Queensland and/or Australian players.
