SEN coach specialist Robert shaw,,who is great by the way,has said that this current collingwood crop of players is on average near 3 months younger than the baby bombers,which to his way of thinking makes them the youngest team in at least AFL history,and seeing that the bombers were in VFL days then I assume this baby Maggie team is the youngest team ever to win a premiership.
I'm sticking with rob shaw unless someone can show me different.
Will we now see all clubs turn to the youth policy,that has brought stunning rewards,combined with the Arizona high altitude training,this appears to hold the magpies in good stead for the next 3 to 5 years,and with the right approach who knows.
Apart from the draw,has any other team been so comanding in disposing of the three other finalists,they come across,they would have a winning average of over 10 goals in the three wins against the 3 other finalist thAt made up the top 4.
