I've never understood the point of the brand split when they never keep it strictly separate. They've been really loose with it this year too.

Considering they're bringing in two women's mid card titles now, unlikely things will change soon.

At the very least there should be only one tag, women's and men's world titles that can be cross brand.

If main roster went unibrand and WWE wanted to keep using all the wrestlers they'd have to overhaul how they format the shows. Which I'd be fine with but I'm not sure they want that much work.

so Roman vs Solo for the Ula Falla on Netflix debut RAW.

Can’t say i’m happy that they’re doing this on RAW considering that The Bloodline has been a Smackdown stable for 4 years now, but I get it.

I assume with the “leave the teams out of it” stipulation Drew will probably get involved and cost Roman given he hates him for the whole “I didn’t win the title at Clash At The Castle” thing. Then again, that could apply to Solo too.

Just listened to it, yeah there is no way the crowd was that into his promo. All fake. He should have gone to NXT for a bit and reinvent himself. He's really just the other brother at this point.

wasn't sure where this belonged.. only sharing because when i told my missus she gave me the "why do i let you see me naked" look, and the kids just rolled their eyes.

had work xmas function last night and I was MC'ing part of it. Did 5 odd minute introduction, then introduced the boss, then bit later I closed up the formal presentations.

First part was pretty lighted hearted, and i included a bit where i said " I was planning on having music, smoke machine and pyro for when i walked onto the stage, like a wrestler making his way to the ring for wrestlemania, but it wasnt in the budget".. got a few chuckles. then i added

"like a real cult of personality"

this got a bit of a pop from the back of the room. so i responded with

"a few people got the reference".

anyway introduced the boss, and he did his thing, and then we had all the presentations and awards etc. I then came back on to finalise proceedings. when ive finished, as started to walk of stage 'cult of personality' kicked in and I looked at back of room and the audio guy we'd hired to do the sound set up threw the CM Punk X hands at me, so i stopped mid way off the stage and did it back..

Went and chatted with audio guy and we had a laugh about it and i thanked him, he said that i he hadve known i was going back up he wouldv'e played the music, and put the CM punk intro on the big screen when i walked on the second time

later in night few people who also understood the CM Punk references, asked if i had organised the music prior.. the whole thing made my night.

As a former audio guy myself that is amazing and I hope he got the proper OK to do that from the client/venue
