I still remember when they were airing ECW on SciFi live after SD and they had the temerity to run a Big Show vs Batista match for the World Title. crowd was not having that.

Hi everyone.

Is anyone else seeing no back catalogue of Raw and Smackdown on Binge now?

Clearly getting ready to move over to Netflix but everything is still advertised as being available on Binge until December 31.

Earliest episode I have access of RAW is Jan 1 2024.

I didn't bother looking at Smackdown but imagine it the same.

Here we go again the switch over black out period.

I miss the Network, it is wishful thinking but it'd be great if Netflix recreated the Network layout inside it's app, like a link.

It was so much better and easier to navigate around.

But wishful thinking, it would never happen unfortunately.

IF the Meltzer report is accurate for the Netflix launch:
There will be roughly 40 WWE pay per views to start off with, a mix of stuff dating back to the wrestling classic including some Royal Rumbles, Wrestlemanias and a totally random assortment of other shows apparently.

No WCW, no Mid-Atlantic wrestling, no mid South wrestling, world class wrestling, none of that tape library.

Netflix will be slowly rolling out WWE pay per views and some archives of WWE programming. There's not going to be any programming from other promotions on Netflix, at least at least in the first 4-5 months.

“I think the days of what the WWE Network had, you know, with all the archives, those days are over.”

That's disappointing.

Better be loading it up on the WWE vault then.

Pretty crazy to be paid $$$$ money to host WWE content elsewhere, but not take the historical content and upload it on the new location as well. Not like I was a regular subscriber to the network and later Binge (maybe 2 times on each service) but when I next get the hankering to watch Royal Rumble 99, WrestleMania 15 or Summer Slam 2002 and not be able to do so on netflix, would be pretty damn poor.

So we lost the a fair bit of the Library because of Netflix?

Guess more people go back to Torrent Sites then to get Classic Stuff

It looks like at least Netflix will hit the ground with some content, unlike Binge that had nothing when it started. It's a positive.

The other libraries are great to watch for random moments etc. I really believe they'll pop up somewhere, they're too popular not too.

Overall I'm happy that the move has been made to Netflix, there's a lot changing in sports and streaming, and I think Netflix after a few creases are ironed out will do well.

Meltzer almost never has intel into WWE's business, he's just speculating.

I started to get bummed out that the disappearance of the Network would cost us most of the really good, interesting original-content documentaries that they were producing... but upon reflection, they quietly stopped doing that when they went to Peacock.

This year we got that Road to Wrestlemania which gave us "The Rock invents the most obvious, great-in-hindsight things of all time" meme, but that's all I can think of.
they're doing those docos for A&E now, so it still exists in a way.
