got money riding on the argies to lift the cup so I reckon they'll dispose of mexico, who are a good team but not in the same class as Argentina especially since Argentina is playing so bloody well. Heinze lucky to still be on the pitch, definately last man back for me. Ref only gave a yellow. Hope the second half is as good. Borgetti is very good in the air, what is he doing in Bolton's reserves?

As for Borghetti, he's still just a baby. Couple of years away from forcing his way into one of Fat Sams teams.

1-1 FT, another refereeing talking point with a Leo Messi goal incorrectly ruled out for offside on Tevez a few minutes before the end. It wasn't even close.

Still I think the ref has been very kind to Argentina throughout the game, perhaps this balances it up a bit.

Going into extra time, if I had to pick a winner I would say Argentina, but at this stage of games and tournaments it is just going to take that one bit of luck, or skill, or fluke from either side. Probably penalties are the best bet.

Argentina was just screwed over big time. Pablo Aimar scored a goal, but the goal was disallowed for offside. Not in my mind. Both Tevez and Aimar were played onside.

Argentina should already be through to the quarters. It will be a disaster if Argentina doesn't win it from here. They have clearly had the better scoring chances. Tevez has looked awesome since coming on for Crespo - I have a feeling he'll get the winner in the 108th minute.

Silver goal is the best way imo. Doesn't kill the game off instantly but allows the team that conceded SFA time to respond.
