Working from home, good/bad?

there is no reason for me to go into the office

i was made remote by the company before covid because if I'm anywhere it's at a customer's office

i don't work with anyone else to do my job, I work with customers, there is no benefit to sitting in a noisy office, in fact customers are more likely to complain about the background noise than anything

losing 2.5 hrs of my time every day to travel to and from the office to do a job that doesn't benefit from that isn't about anything other than control

A senior i never met or even know of said to our boss "I don't see your team when I am in the office once every month"

This was the catalyst for 3 days in the office. I still haven't seen this guy who conveniently prefers to WFH and only come in for client piss ups

I always love the argument for collaboration that you overhear someone, put + together and come up with a revolutionary idea or product, as if [emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]% of office talk isn’t what you did on the weekend, the footy or MAFS.
