Wood wants to be traded

Trading 101 actually identifies targets and follows these targets to exhaustion.

Meehen has chosen the Western Bulldogs (exhausted)

Wood has chosed Adelaide (exhausted)

Jolly is still thinking about resigning with Sydney (watch)

Hudson linked to Melbourne (watch)

.

Sorry to disappoint you lizzy but your mail is way off. Hudson has agreed in principle to sign with the bulldogs while Meesen has indicated a preference for melbourne. Will accept that you probably got them confused but it doesn't really do your argument any favours. The fact you claim to be both a pies and bulldogs supporter doesn't either

Trading 101 - No

Vegie Trading - Yes.

Now do either Jolly or Hudson measure up.

Hudson is only potential

Jolly has the credentials but would take the 14th pick probably

Do you want to give up your 14th pick for Jolly?

Malthouse has veto on this decision so probably unlikely.

This is how it works boys and girls.

By the way fella, don't slag off women. Most are smarter than any of you guys.

I tend to think you have been running around on all the boards and forums and take what you hear as gospil and I think the Judd saga should proove to you that you can't do that.

Btw if you are going to go trying to discredit someone's arguments please get your facts right

Hudson has requested to be traded to the Bulldogs.

Messen Melbourne

Wood is from Adeliade but at no time has it been mentioned it is a homesick decision so don't make assumptions and pass them off as fact.

Jolly probably will sign a 3 year deal.

Wood is easily worth pick 14 he has the same if not more potential as any ruck in this years draft bar Kreuzer and is futher ahead in his development hence being an asset to us when we are pushing for a flag. No use drafting a ruck now and have the ruck be in the same stage of development that Wood is in now when we are a threat. Also if you had seen much of the u/18's comp you would know that besides Kreuzer there wouldn't really be a ruck worth pick 14 in this years draft Bellchambers will probably be in the mix but I personal think it is a better bet picking up one of the many decent second round projects rather then a rather unexciting first round prospect (How I wish we could score Natuni excuse my spelling.)

Who do you want to get? Who do you want to give up?
You make things up. Firstly, you claim that Adelaide and Wood have a deal already done without supplying a source to back that up, and secondly, it has been suggested in the media that Brisbane would consider a first round draft pick for him.

Collingwood may or may not get him, but that doesn't change the obvious that you simply don't want to see Collingwood receive players from other clubs, and that is where you base your opinions from. This is the behaviour of a troll.

Jolly has a four year deal on the table, and is expected to sign this weekend.

I don't see Kreuzer as having that much potential in the ruck, but others disagree. Wood, for instance, has 2 inches on him. I think Kreuzer will end up being a taller Nick Riewoldt-type forward who just runs his opponent into the ground while taking marks.

Hudson is a good ordinary player and nothing else. Cox and Ottens on the games they played on those days, would have killed him as much as they did Richards.

That's absurd. Hudson may not be in the Cox and Ottens class, but he is a very good ruckman. He led the competition in hardball-gets this year. There's no way he would've been manhandled like Richards, who was nothing short of fricking embarrassing.

so kinda a B grade fraser? as fraser can still be a second ruckman whilst ebing the type of forward you mentioned

Kreuzer is more of a Kosi style, but doesn't have the build and will take longer to develop.

Even if Ruck isn't his best spot, thats where he will be, because like us Carlton just don't have many options for the ruck.

I reckon Hampson looks a player. He'll take a while, as will all young ruckmen, but he'll get there.

Hampson, with Ackland and a fit Cam Cloke as backups, may be a decent line-up for the short term, with Kruezer on the development path to replace Ackland in a year or so.

They just need some key position players.

I actually think exactly that. Kruzer is shorter then Fraser and not as good below his knees but he has a bigger frame. I like the Sampler think for him to be worthy of his hype he will need to develop into a good KPP which he is capable of, as far as ruckmen go I really think over time it will prove Fraser > Kreuzer but I could be wrong.

Remember Fraser was a ridiculously hyped number 1 pick too. Kruzer will be a fair bit better overhead mark then Fraser IMO

new rumor about Jolly to collingwood for a good pic and Ryan Cook. It has some legs to it,as sydney need a young hard runner and was going to take cook in the 2005 draft but got piped,Nick Malceski is Cooks step brother and rings him for advise.

Pick 31, sure. Pick 14, no thanks.

Not sure I understand your post, Snoop...

sorry RS, I think for both Wood and Jolly you would swap your first round if it came down to it. A better trade for Jolly would be a second round pick and a player. The issue then becomes who you think is better. Jolly is the right choice if you think you can win a GF in the next 4 yrs otherwise its Wood. Jolly seems to have the bigger body shape and would better fit the type of ruck we want whereas Wood I think is pretty skinny and maybe to much like Frasers shape.

No worries, Snoopster.

Rumours out of Sydney are that Jolly has re-signed, announced at their best-and-fairest.

I don't have concerns over Wood's ability to put on weight. Check out his player's page in Roster Watch on the Brisbane board! Amazing difference from back in '03 before being drafted.
