Since the pros started going the US basketball team has never stayed in an Olympic village as far as I know.Had a look - and the articles seem to be uncomfortable beds and cramped quarters.
Mainly, big stars who don't want to hang out with the povo amateurs.

Reading that article seems like they didn't have enough meat/non-vegan options early doors, has been rectified now. Failing!!!1So, three of these seem to be borne out to some extent from some athletes.

No air con and the bed situation does seem pretty rough gotta admit but doesn't seem all that different to reports from previous Olympics.
