Pretty sure most would have looked hard when he ran that 20M time. Wells talked about his other skills ..be nice to see some of that but he is probably in need of a lot of development. EDIT …looking at the vid above does give one a hint of what he might be ..

The other clubs must think its a 3 to 4 years timeline … something we are happy with as we have no immediate need thanks to the 4 years we have put into Neale.

Not looking specifically a designated ruck
Rather tall fast versatile players to adapt
Possible reason they overlooked Dodson
Instead look at their attributes and skills.
Determine where they can fit into the team
Future footballers will be more versatile
Single position players can be countered
Jezza roams wide makes him hard to stop

I think Conway and Pike show they will pick the mono role player if its the right player… but as Blitz and Stanley has shown ..the MC like our talls to have wheels.

Wells doesn't give much away but I got the sneaking suspicion from his interview that Wells is extra excited about this pick.

I reckon we'll try to make him into a KPP of some sort with Conway, Pike and Edwards as the developing ruck options.
