E) they had one of the biggest net loss of ladder positions ever this year ( 2nd biggest behind Geelong ?)

After we've been told ad nauseum over the last two months that the 'ladder doesn't lie' and the 'higher team is better'...

No. I have been very consistent that if both teams make finals the ladder goes out the window and it becomes about finals positions. In the above situation I will always say 3rd had a better season because they progressed further in finals.
