Hewett well ahead of both. People love underrating him, but he's one who stands up when a lot of others don't IMO.

Gets the pill but handballs backward A LOT. Shits me to tears.

No, I don't get it.

What's your point?

That Carlton too are saving their best until later in the year?

FMD.

That’s it’s a long season. The longest ever (?). You’re happy to write off players & teams due to the start of the year, but make excuses for others.

You’re using McKays sample size of 1 game to label him a spud for 2025, yet Pendles has looked over the hill and he’s just ‘peaking at the right time’.

Your double standards are pathetic.

Is there anyone able to tell us how geriatric Pendlebury would be getting a game ahead of Hewett this year?

First game he was a liability, second game he was a sub and the third he was decent but nothing too spectacular.

Hewett been in the bests all 3 games so far and playing far better than washed up ol Pendlenuts
Oh no.

Hewett over Pendlebury is Acres over Sidebottom v2.....

It’s true. Walsh has been horrific.
Pendlebury 6 score involvements per game this season.

Walsh 3.7 SIs per game.

And the old man was sub for one of those games!

81% vs 61% disposal efficiency.

Walsh has had 14 inside 50s for 0 goal assists, as a prime aged midfielder.

He's the Lygon Street Butcher.

Yeah but Pendelbury's an over the hill has been apparently?

Pendelbury and Sidebottom are guns - have rated them as the most important players for Collingwood in many posts in this thread and others- so looking forward to congratulating them on a great career and wishing them the best in post footy life - just wish they'd hurry up!

More important than:
Daicos?
Moore?
A fit and firing De Goey?
Cameron?

The thing with Collingwood is they all contribute.

As Fadgey always likes to say... Stats don't mean anything!

How are the nuff nuffs claiming Hewett over Pendles.

Line them up against a wall and 18 coaches are taking 37 year old Pendlebury. Including Voss.
Hewett might lack hurt factor with his disposal, but has been a clearance and tackling machine at least maintaining a competitive edge around stoppages. Good two way runner. Completely different and complimentary attributes to current day Pendlebury IMO. They would work pretty well together.
