Probably

Docherty
Haynes
Orazio
McNuggets

Next year

Williams
Young
Newman

Plenty of dosh to throw around from that lot! McChicken and Williams alone will be plenty
Unlikely you'll delist both Haynes and McGovern. Reckon you'll give Doc a one year out of sympathy too.

When you take off the contract increases to guys like Motlop and possibly TDK... It's chicken feed. No money left to chase any of the stars available.

Motlops agent will want a big increase given that he's the most important small forward on your list (sad but true). Bloos are gonna have to pony up for that spud😂

Maybe they can bid to get Owies back?

He won't come cheap...

Apparently Fly sent Vossy a message of support because things are that bad.

I think we should all ve kind to Carlton win lose of draw.

In that vein, I'd like to acknowledge Catlton are a club of great historical importance. Their navy jumper is one of the best in World sport, and Curnow has great hair.

Hard to disagree with any of this, I could be wrong but afl could be one of the only sports that don’t have full time professional umpires.
Billion dollar business serving up rubbish.
So when an umpire makes a decision in a split second. How he spent the week changes that?

Could easily be over cooked from going over umpiring every day

Surely there’s a sweet spot?

But Daicos new contract won't impact your salary cap?

He's probably looking at an $800k increase.

Signed his current contract when he was young, probably $600k p/a. Signed an extension with new salary from 2026-2029, all parties would've been full aware he'd be the premier player in the comp.

I'd be shocked if he's not on at least $1.4m next year. So he should be.

We've offered $1m to TDK, he was probably on $600k-$700k when we re-signed him in 2023. It'd be a $300k-$400k increase.

You've got no idea what Daicos is on, and he's signed through to the end of 2028.

TDK ain't staying at Carlton for $1 mil/year, when he's getting offers of 50% to 70% more elsewhere.

Young GOAT will have no probs with signing a back ended contract to fit in with the clubs recruiting and retirement plans.
Players likely to retire over the next 2 years:
Pendles
Sidey
Mihocek
Howe
WHE
Cox
Elliot
Mitchell
Markov
Membury
Possibly Crisp.

No more Grundy and Treloar payments.

You seriously telling me you think the Pies have cap issues???

I think are more embarrassing point would be "hey TDK we only want to pay you 100k more than fkin Spud Perryman to stay with us"
I'll see that and raise you getting rid of Kennedy, Martin, J Carroll, Owies, Cuningham etc etc shredding your depth just to keep TDK who is LEAVING ANYWAY!!

According to who
If you could get $400k a year extra to go and play for a more successful club (over the last 30 years), with a better outlook and a better coach and a more loyal supporter base; wouldn't you?

He's seen what's happened to Crippa's career by staying at the Blues. He doesn't want it happening to him. TDK belongs in a more successful environment like the Saints.

He was originally contracted until end of 2025, with the extension being from 2026-2029. Thought you'd be aware of this given you know his sperm count & passport number. I would very much assume Daicos would be on big money, wouldn't you?

TDK likely won't stay for $1m a year, but that's the offer apparently.
