Hopefully some changes for the Pies next week - Pies fans, besides Houston, who comes in from this mouth-watering group of superstars to turn it around?

• Mason Cox
• Billy Frampton
• Nathan Kreuger
• Finlay Macrae
• Harvey Harrison
• Tew Jiath
• Jack Bytel
• Josh Eyre
• Joel Cochran
• Charlie West
• William Hayes
• Oleg Markov
• Ash Johnson
• Wil Parker
There's a few premiership players in that Cavalry. They'll be ok

Indeed.

Plenty of feedback from today's game.

Much better to get it first up than to ensure you get fixtured against a set of witches hats for your first game.
GwS were happy to play against witches hats today it seems.
Serious take - pies competed well until the last 10 mins of each quarter. Possible sign of old legs perhaps they did look like they weren't running back defensively and the orange tsunami just cut ribbons through the collingwood defence. Long looked ok , pendles is going to have to come off the bench to have greater impact - his opponents are going to run off him all year otherwise. Sidebottom same , maybe there is no room for both sidey /pendles to play together. Nick - I don't know it seemed a bit all too hard for him at times with virtually no assistance. Degoey in should fix that.

Could you help me out here Pies fans, my mind has gone a little bit blank here!

How did your game against GWS go? Did you lose, win or draw?

Did you guys lose and mention Carlton about ten times in the first eight pages of your autopsy thread?:laughv1:

Welcome to the seat next to Richmond

Atleast we got the 8 kids last year and another 2 next draft
The Pies have chosen to bottom out too late imo. The Tassie team will be raiding all the young talent on them.

Of course it's too early to go dancing on their grave just yet, but it wouldn't suprise me if they finished down in 12th to 14th place on the ladder this year.

Nah, they'll be ok. Just gotta pick a younger side if they play in the heat.
Bouncing back against Port at their own sanctuary in more favourable conditions shouldn't be a problem. Houston back, DeGoey a chance as well. Not sure playing Pendlebury and Sidebottom together is ideal as a lot of coaches will decide to transition play through their direct opponents knowing they're not real quick. Fly will have a contingency for that hopefully.

They have enough about them to be competitive this year, but the situation more longer term for the Pies is bleak.

An ageing list with a dearth of young and up coming talent, and the Tassie team coming in three years time.

They snatched a recent flag win to be fair. It will provide them with some comfort over the next few years at least!:laughv1:

Man, Collingwood fans do not take these losses well.

Chin up, Centrelink will still pay and the world keeps on turning.
