AFL has never worked like that.

Club turfs coach, signs up replacement to take over as senior coach in the space of a week?

You’d need a 3-4 week grace period imo - eg Horse comes in and just observes for a few weeks whilst the assistants get them up to speed.

Horse would be the best choice I think.

But if you're going to sack Voss, if that decision gets made by round 10 say. What's the point in letting him coach out the year? Wouldn't it be a good head start for Horse to have half a year to test out the playing list?

Voss and his loser assistants need to be frog-marched out of that club ASAP, let the healing begin

They have turned the corner, have put in two great efforts against a couple of strong teams.

Serious question mate, why cant Binns and/or Lemmey get a game? I know "playing the kids" is a dumb way of trying to get out of trouble when you're struggling but surely some kids that haven't got the mental scars that some of the older blokes seem to be fighting could inject some enthusiasm and dare into the group? No idea just spitballing. Respect to you for fronting up against all this too.

Really? Then you trully are lost or maybe you've started to see something that I've been seeing for quite a while with Carlton.


Even when everyone was accusing Hawthorn of tanking, I was still happy to turn up because I was excited by the youth that we acquired. If young players at your club don't you get you excited without the prospect finishing top eight, then you are lost.

I am fearful of a blowout though, think it’ll turn the club into a circus, and it’s already a theme park.

As a fan you go to EVERY game with some sort of ‘hope’ you’ll win, no matter how unlikely it is.

Who the **** goes to watch a competitive game for premiership points to purely watch the kids and not ride the score? Go watch training if you’re not interested in the score, or just be a scout.
