Give me xerri, LDU, wardlaw, Sheezel, Simpkin, Parker, mckercher and Powell over whatever midfield crows have

Larkey, darling, Zurhaar, Curtis, Duursma and co will kick more goals than Tex, fog, rachele, rankine and co

The rise of the Roos starts next year and it will be rapid
Xerri > ROB
Dawson>LDU
Rankine>Sheezel
Wardlaw>Soligo
Crouch=Simpkin
Parker=Neal Bullen
Draper=Mckercher
Peatling>Powell

We also have Curtin to compare favourably against Phillips.

Crows the preferable midfield combo, starting to look good 2025 finally.

Don't make me laugh at the forward comparison, but good luck in the rapid rise, we all need a change of scenery in the top 8.

Adelaide are shit, hopefully they finish 18th. North will be the biggest improvement out of the 3, and I think West Coast will finish 16th position next year.
Better for you if crows finish last as that means you'll get pick 1 for NWM next year, more likely to be pick 8-12 though.

For WCE its such a change of game plan with the new coach and totally new playing style
So especially early we will be vulnerable
Honestly think 2026 we will shoot up the ladder
and 2025 have a poor year but see players develop individually
with towards end of season see improvement going into 2026
where we see great improvement

Just to add here, id much prefer the mix of types of players in the crows midfield in 2025 too.

Youve got a decent mix of bigger bodies and smaller bodies, accumulators, defensive mids, aggressive mids, etc.
North are all 185cm or under, mostly young without mature bodies like the Crows do. North can rack up the outside ball but thats not going to beat most teams

Hard to imagine it being 2026, but I guess there is a pathway. However it's worth noting that North has been rooted to the bottom two for the last couple of years with LDU, Larkey, Sheezle and not much else, so there needs to be a fair bit to come on to support Reid/Allen to even get that kind of jump.

1. Crows
2. Roos
3. WC
Last. Whoever thought this thread was actually a question.
Yeah, i would prefer a thread that compares Crows to similar teams.

14th is their absolute ceiling. Delusional to think otherwise

Sheezel is the best player on either list.

Not sure you are going to live up to username this time. ;)

Crows midfield group is better than previous years - O'Brien, Rankine, Dawson, Soligo, Crouch, Peatling, Sholl & Draper.

Forward line you have missed our likely most dangerous player - Thilthorpe with Fogarty the mainstay talls, with Tex being phased out you will see a bit of Curtin to. Keays, Rachele, ANB & many of the mids will rotate forward.

Backline looks solid enough with Murray, Worrell, Keane, Hinge, Michalanney, Laird & Cumming.

Key this year is we have more useful depth.
It is December so it is North's supporters time to talk up their list. It has happened the last 4 preseasons and then the season start and they go quiet
