Where were you last night mate? We purposely changed the training run to a Wednesday night so all you cricketers could turn up and no-one did.

Particularily after you all said that you couldnt get there last week because of cricket training on Tuesday night.

Hmmmmmm...
Myslef, Wella and thommo could not make it because we were are.....paryting for the last day of school ever.

Here is a rumor for you. Driving past warragul north primary school on route to horizon, who do i see running (i think it was running) laps by himself Matt Gooden.

i thought its non compulsery?

i thought its non compulsery?

It's non compulsory. Correct.

But for big fellas like me and you two, it is as good as compulsory.

Getting miles in the legs before the 12th.

Canny was disappointed that we only had 8 blokes there. He travels 30 mins and I travel 35 to get there for only 6 other to turn up.

Pretty easy run, tho. About 1.5kms. Then ball work. Just sharpen the skills etc. Even Steve Fricke was there. Breezed through it.

Goodie you are kidding yourself. Cann will go to water when the real stuff starts. If you want to put your money on some one for the league b & F i would back Opper. He is twice the player Cann is and he does it when it counts
reading over some old stuff here and geez i had to laugh when i read this. Cann was easily our best player, hence why he won our B&F by a fair way. Opper showed glimpses last year but it was clear that he was use to a higher standard of football, something this league didnt offer. but he did get best on against the flag winners and runners up.
Jamie was the best thing which could of happened to the nilma darnum footy club last year, his flair on the ground and skill was something which the suppoters of nilma and other clubs will remember for years to come when he leaves the league.. if he leaves the league.
56 touches and 6 goals dont lie. he is a class above ANYone in the EDFL and quite frankly would of won the League b and f he was such a yappy bloke on the field.

The 3rds boyseven named the far wing (unofficaly) after him!!!!
Played after round 8 on a neddle every week after doing his shoulder...
turn to water my ass if anything he turned the club into a fine form of wine which has provided the club with the chance to spring board from last winning 4 games in 5 years to flag contenders in a few years.

Brad Sinclar is also and excellent coach who has gotten the most out of the club with scope for more improvment this year!!

Go Darnos.

Re: huge recruiting at buln buln

Huge whispers at buln buln that they have recruited at least 15 gun senior players ,some from frankston/ eastern/and also gippsland power and few other clubs. They have been setting up there year from late september and have been training since early november, clint sheedy is also signed and the way its looking there is no need for him to take on the role as f/f having most holes already filled.Rumor has it that senior coach neil collett has a football backgroung second to none in quality players wanting to play with him, from what i was told at the clubs xmas party is that he is god parents to the wanganeens and jamie lawson ex sydney swans player and is coming down from mildura with his young 18 yr old brother, i heard that on match day the game will be set alight with class football , I cant wait!!!

Re: huge recruiting at buln buln

the warragul night club. there is only one.

not a good start.

warraguls a small place and people have long memorys.

I do know what your saying goodie,i have been in involved only the other year in a dust up there and i was with my girlfriend,I know they were with a buln person and he was a witness to what went on and the player had his back turned and he was innocent of everything.

from what i was told goodie was that one of the new players had his back turned and was hit from behind, there was witneses to that ,as you know you do stand out if there is some new faces there, someone did say that the other person was on some sort of drugs, who knows mate.

I have heard that buln buln are on the market for another key player if any player is interested dont hesitate,i do have certain numbers for the serious player,or i can give details to the new coaching staff!
