How does this happen if you have no historical or geographical link to the team. Do you just like the colours?
This is hilarious. Do you assume that everyone who lives in Victoria and barracks for the Eagles has always lived in Victoria?
Guess what, there's Collingwood supporters living in WA too!

I think Morganashlee might be the only Collingwood supporter that has travelled past distant Frankston.
I'm overseas campaigner, a Collingwood supporter allowed out of the country (and able to afford it) is rarer than rocking horse shit :rainbow:

Now go have another arak and methanol cocktail.

My 2 & a bit year old Granddaughter has started saying Port Adelaide clap clap clap along with me and my wife is less than amused

suffer.

People who barrack for clubs that they don't live near really grind my gears

:rainbow::drunk:

These days that statement makes no sense. Very few young people can afford to buy a place in most club heartlands, their connections to their club are generally family traditions. Any self respecting parent that doesn't bash their team prejudices into their kids is a failure. I once worked with a guy that was a Cats fan and he let his 3 boys choose to barrack for Essendon. "You gutless wonder" I told him, "you broke the bloodline"

Sonny Jim was covered in Geelong gear from day 1. He also goes for Tottenham :thumbsu:

Same. When growing up I couldn't understand how there was multiple team supporting families..I do.not know of a blood relative that doesn't support the Cats. My wife goes for Carlton but she is basically anti-afl so there is no chance my kids won't follow the Cats.

Also I live in Arsenal country so there's no way they'll be Spurs fans.

I'm with ya, was just taking the piss about the debate over that between sirloathie, wooshette and co.

It should always be kept in the family, any parent who lets their kids just choose any team is a flog.

Parents don't always follow the same team.;)
