From the rookieMe website:

"Although not as tall as him, Tauru has been likened to West Coast stalwart Nic Naitanui due to his athleticism but he has also been likened to Hawthorn captain James Sicily in terms of his defensive game and aggressive attack on the ball, Sydney captain Dane Rampe due to his ability to rebound out of defence and to another degree, Port Adelaide utility Aliir Aliir due to his versatility."

A blend of NicNat and Allir squared will do me, the similarities must be abundant in playing style because they sure don't look alike!

Welcome Alix!

Travis Fimmel (Vikings)

”Aspiring to be a professional Australian rules footballer, Fimmel moved to Melbourne to play for the St Kilda Football Club in the AFL, but a broken leg sidelined him before the season began.”

Well it’s taken a quarter of a century but it looks like we finally got our Viking

Welcome Alix to the Mighty Sainters.

Who knows........down the track he could be nick named the "Blonde Bombshell"....ala Big Carl.

For the older posters on here.

;);)
If big carl beats the charges, SW, I'm happy to pass on any nickname. I'm still trying to get over the fact that he's been charged.

For me, Tauru, shall henceforth be known as Trevor Roo2 Tarau. That'll do pig. That'll do.

Forgot all about it tbh, quite a few questionable blokes in the shit atm for historical crimes. Better late than never.

I respect the confidence he has in himself and his ability yet he also comes humble and level headed. His parents have done well.

Super excited with his selection and what he brings for the future. I predict Thor levels of x factor!

I trust the system when it comes to historical sex crimes. Very difficult to prove, given the time that has elapsed and the, "I said - he said", nature of the evidence.

Him being the teacher of the alleged victim complicates things and increases the seriousness of the crime. If convicted, I'm afraid he'll get some jail time. Convicted sex offenders don't do very well in prison.

Remember it might be a slow and steady approach with this one in 2025.

Coming off a back stress fracture right now and multiple other injuries in 22/23 because he grew very quickly.

We want the Viking and we want him now.
