AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Well a 6ft forward with forward craft is still a smallish forward. Charlie Cameron is 183cm, (6ft). Alger looks like he is a good mark for his size, but he looks crafty round gaols like a small forward. More to the point, we don't have one, not a natural one. A medium forward is more like Caddy or Bauer. When did someone pretty much 6ft start being called a 'small forward'. Yes he is small forward compared to all our KPF but is no way a Papley or comparable to other short people, lol
That's the amazing thing; we had him down for our last pick of the first round but when North came at us with their Future First, it was an offer we couldn't refuse. Then when no one else took him and we were nearing the end of the draft, knowing the Pies were in the market for a small forward, we pounced. So we got a player in the late fifties for someone we were willing to take in the first round.
Amazing!
