Doesn't mean they don't rate him, they could just obviously still get someone they rate higher. If he was the kind of prospect that every team rated super highly, he wouldn't have been on the board in the late 40s.
Teams are going to have wildly different opinions of players by the time you get to the back end of the draft.
There'll be guys getting drafted by teams late that other teams wouldn't have taken at pick #200 if given the chance.
Recruiters see things differently, and none of them is right every single time.

Murphy Replacement it looks like
Trust me, key defenders are a massive need for the Swans. Right now if McCartin goes down our leading key defender is Melican and I genuinely have no idea who comes into the main side as a KPD to partner with him. We have no one else.

That my take. Interceptor that covers the ground well with good speed and elite endurance. I'm hoping for a Sicily like player.
Clearly needs more work on his kicking and needs to bulk up a bit, but very athletic.

Just need some work on his Kicking
Swans went Riak Andrew who I am guessing we would have also considered. So they clearly didnt rate Cochran has high as us. A lot of variables would go into the decision making but most of the players are going to have flaws at this stage of draft it is more about what you can develop them into, how they fit into your style.
Happy with this pick it was a need. Gutted we didnt in this draft as there look like a lot of 200 game key position players taken up to around 35.

Seems to bite off a bit more than he can chew with the ball but I like his offensive mindset.
The skills can always be cleaned up but it’s harder for a safe player to develo an offensive mindset.
