I did not know that. Gee I loved Basinger.Even worse when you consider he taped Kim Basinger and him having sex in the recording studio and used it in his Batman soundtrack

"It's difficult to see Smith ever becoming an elite clearance midfielder."
That's an incredibly dumb statement. In 2022 as a 21 year old with limited midfield minutes he was 85th in the league for clearances per game. There's no reason he can't be a top 30 clearance player in the league.
Have you watched him much?
He's not going to be a clearance bull replacement for Danger was the gist of the article.
And I agree.
He was played in the midfield in 2022, was 2023 where they played him out of position thus his form dropped.
Yes I have watched him a lot. Young players with explosive acceleration tend to start mainly on the outside and mature into inside players.
You know who also only averaged 4 clearances per game in their 4th season and therefore by this logic would never become an elite clearance player?
Patrick Dangerfield.
Also Dangerfield isn't retired yet, still has two years on his contract.I think Smith will be an Inside/Outside type... He will give us positional flexibility much like Holmes does. I wouldn't mind if we have Dempsey back as a high half forward...
Was Danger as small as Baz?
I'm not disputing he won't do xyz, who knows, but from what I've seen he's not jumping head first into contests in the thick of it.

Which means we still have two years to find our clearance bull.

I'm too young to have listened to Prince but I fully endorse this as a driving force to your art. Might start listening
Look at Prince do this shit.. one of the best ever.
Go Catters

There's a couple of songs where you mindlessly sing along till one day you realise what's actually going on in the tune...It's amazing really how when you're young you just listen to them rhythm / beat and as you get older you start listening to lyrics.
I only started a deep dive into Prince' music after he died. And boy o boy. Everything is sex.

Just keep scrollingTbh it turned to shit when people for some reason cared about whether Bailey needs a haircut or not
BUT. . .will Bailey run faster with the blonde bob + headband, or will his long mullet impede his speedHonestly don't care either.
I just hope we are strong again next season and can finish top four. Only this time around, a player like Smith will be critical in the last 5 minutes of a preliminary final. Something we sorely lacked against Brisbane 4 weeks ago.
The song refers to the ongoing Afghan war + also makes several allusions to World War I + World War II. The lyrics also criticise diplomacy, especially in the final refrain: "what if I take my problem to the United Nations?"Ah - I screwed up. I always thought it was about shellshock in WW1.
Maybe I'm confusing it with PJ Harvey's Words That Maketh Murder, which absolutely IS about that.
I love how he has no spotlight for the whole song and then totally shreds and drops the mic on the audience. Very well respected as a song writer but very underrated as a guitarist.F* me that's wild
I think Prince played every single instrument on his first 6 albums.F* me that's wild
Eric Clapton was once asked what it's like to be the best guitarist in the world.I love how he has no spotlight for the whole song and then totally shreds and drops the mic on the audience. Very well respected as a song writer but very underrated as a guitarist.
It doesn't matter if you like Prince or not you have to admit Prince was one of the most talented Musicians ever.I think Prince played every single instrument on his first 6 albums.
Freak.
And btw Strange Cat I listened to that batman song. I want those 4 minutes of my life back.
Gee he over produced that sucker.
